HEALTH PROMOTION

For four years running the School has won an award in the Action Cancer sponsored ‘Health Action Awards Scheme’. The citation reads “Bangor Grammar School has shown an outstanding commitment to promoting healthy activities for pupils and impressed us with its determination to improve pupils’ lifestyles”.

The School gives priority to healthy living through Bee Gee’s healthy eating menus and promotions, the health programme in Learning for Life and Work, the work of our School Nurse, the ‘No Smoking ‘ programme and our after school activities.
